Health Care

To start out our government is like one badly mixed pot of spaghetti, when you think the sauce is covering everything look a little closer. The reason i say this is our government is running with polar opposites, on one side the democrats and the other republicans, in office. One such topic that you can clearly see this is Health care reform. Everything that the democrats propose the republicans shoot it down, but they do not try to help the democrats in the pursuit to better our current health care system, that is currently in pieces. First I would like to point out no not all of the republicans are against the bills and not all of the democrats are for it, but for the majority this is true. Currently president Obama has made it his top priority to get the health care system fixed. which is discussed in The New York Times "Obama Delays Trip as Report Aids Final Push on Health Care". If you prefer not to read the article it states how Obama has canceled some of his other engagements in order to have more time to work on the health care issue. I just hope in the end both of these parties will realize that they are responsible for millions of people's lives and stop caring about their own interests. They are meant to help out our nation as a whole not just the wealthy and themselves.
